Christmas Lights to see around the World

Christmas Day is getting even closer now and we are feeling excited! It is a fantastic time of year to spend quality moments with loved ones. Another awesome thing about Christmas is all of the pretty lights you get to see! Whether you visit a set up lighting display, wander city streets or even just driving past houses on your estate, you are bound to see some colourful lighting.

We have been looking at some fantastic lighting efforts from across the globe, and here are our favourites:

London The city of London has some fantastic festive lights to offer. If you are visiting you must stop by stores like Harrods and Selfridges in the evening to see the impressive displays.

New York

NYC is a busy city filled with sparkling lights, and everyone will rush to see the lighting of the famous tree at the Rockefeller Centre – it is not to be missed!

Sydney

If you are lucky enough to jet to the other side of the globe, the Town Hall in Sydney is a sight to behold! The whole building is lit up by a projector as well as filled with pretty lights and a tree.

Lapland

If you want to visit somewhere to see some breathtaking natural lights and really get into the festive spirit then a trip to Lapland is in order. The Northern Lights aren’t guaranteed but it is worth taking the chance to go and see them!

These are just a few that you should plan to see once in your life; and there are so many more that would be unbelievable to see too! Once you return home you can always put on your electric heater with a mug of hot chocolate and flick back through festive snaps from your travels.
