UK Christmas Markets and Fairs to Visit
It is the 1st of December on Sunday and we are feeling festive at Arrow Electrical. There is a lot going on across the UK when it comes to getting into the holiday spirit, so we have put together a few Christmas markets and fairs which you might want to take a visit too over the next month:
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
As we are based in the London area we had to mention this fantastic Christmas fayre which takes place every year. Hyde Park is the perfect location to host a wide range of stalls, rides, shows and more. The pretty lights and fantastic atmosphere will get you in the festive spirit plus it is free to walk around, with the exception of shows and rides. It is open from 10am till 10pm so you have all day and night to wander round and discover different stalls.
Nottingham Christmas Market & Ice Rink Winter Wonderland
This event in Nottingham is offering a bigger market than previous events they have held, plus you will be able to see the popular ice rink and huge Christmas tree return. For the adults you will be able to take a seat at one of the two winter bars to enjoy some delicious spiced cider! For the kids there are a number of rides and a nativity scene to take sight of, all in all it is a great day for all the family to enjoy.
Glasgow Christmas Continental Market
If you live in Scotland, Glasgow’s annual market is the place to visit! If you love to see and try new things then you will really enjoy sampling food and seeing crafts from around the world in this global affair! You will be able to find an unusual present for someone special with stalls supplying items from Russia, Ecuador, European countries and more, plus a Bavarian bar for the adults to visit too!
These are just a couple across the country that you can visit in December, and there is many, many more so you can find one close to home. There is nothing like taking a trip out to a festive fair and returning home to sit by a warm electric heater and watch a Christmas movie, so make the most of the festivities and have fun! Plus if you are buying a new heater from us you will be pleased to know we have reduced our free delivery threshold from £250 to £199!
